ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE / SECURITY CONSULTANT

THE POSITION:
  • We would like you to convince our 4000+ Clients and Prospective Clients to spend their hard earned money with Reed Security.
  • You will be Selling Yourself, Selling the Company, and Selling our Products and Services.
THE DUTIES:
  • Did we mention Selling?
  • We want you to generate opportunities by actively prospecting, networking, and by referral.
  • We also receive numerous Inbound leads. We need you to qualify, answer questions, book on-site security evaluations, provide proposals, overcome objections, and close deals.
  • Provide Awesome Customer Service including "doing what it takes to satisfy our clients before and after the sale".
  • Participating in trade shows, golf tournaments, association meetings and other networking opportunities.
  • Effectively managing your time and working hard to produce results – for you and us!

THE QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience matters. You should have at least 5 years recent B2B (Business to Business) or B2C (Business to Consumer) Sales Experience.
  • A Training Program is provided.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE

THE POSITION:
  • We have 4000+ Customers and they need our Help!
  • Our goal is to provide fantastic customer service that achieves not just customer satisfaction but customer happiness.
  • We’re looking for someone who loves to help others and can be empathetic - even when dealing with tough customers!
  • This is a technical role within that will allow you to learn and understand a very diverse set of technologies. Our solutions include alarm systems, alarm.com smart security, HD Video Surveillance systems and Access Control systems.
THE DUTIES:
  • Troubleshooting of hardware and software products through remote and virtual systems (phone, email, VPN)
  • Gather customers’ information to determine root issues and analyze symptoms
  • Provide knowledgeable and exceptional customer experiences while also solving their issues
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues involving internet connectivity, router and switch issues
  • Thoroughly document customer interactions and issues for future knowledge sharing – document support incidents and/or common critical issues
  • Handle customer complaints and escalations by talking to customers directly
  • Ability and eagerness to handle multiple priorities within a fast paced environment and ultimately ensuring the best customer experience
  • Assist customers with installation, operational, maintenance and or training related inquiries for products and applications
  • Programming of customer account databases and system setups
  • Scheduling installations and service calls
  • Diagnoses mechanical, hardware, software and systems failures using established procedures
THE QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2-5 years' experience providing technical support
  • Self-motivated and focused with a passion for technology and an aptitude for customer happiness
  • Ability to learn and understand new ideas and concepts
  • Pleasant, friendly style of verbal and written communication
  • Excellent knowledge of networking principles and IP communication
  • Intimate knowledge and experience with Windows troubleshooting tools and techniques
  • Experience with computer hardware/network equipment configuration and troubleshooting
PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO THOSE WITH:
  • Technical support experience in a contact center environment
  • College degree or diploma of technology
  • Microsoft and/or Cisco certifications
  • Prior experience in security industry

SECURITY TECHNICIAN (OR APPRENTICE)

THE POSITION:
  • Do your friends come to you to get their computers and electronics fixed?
  • Are you the one that fixes the server or gets the email working when it goes down?
  • We will also train you how to troubleshoot and service electronic security systems.
  • This a full time in house position 40 hours per week.
  • We have 4000+ clients in Saskatoon area, but there is some travel and over-nighting.
THE DUTIES:
  • Install (or learn to), service, and program wireless and/or hard-wired alarm systems in a residence or business (DSC, GE, Honeywell, ALARM.COM)
  • Install (or learn to), service, and program video surveillance systems and set up for remote viewing (ReedHD, Avigilon, Axis, HIKVision, Exacq and other leading brands)
  • Install (or learn to) install, service, and program a card access system (Kantech)
  • Providing top notch tech support and service to our client base including Remote Login and Diagnosis for our clients
  • What other strengths do you have that can help take Reed Security to the next level?
THE QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Positive and CAN DO Attitude - this will get you through any situation.
  • Previous experience with security, telecom, electrical, audio, paging, electronics, construction, or a cable company is an asset.
  • You must be good with your hands.
  • Willingness to work hard, learn and multi-task and go the extra mile for your teammates and our clients.
  • You have reliable transportation and are dependable.
  • You are neat in appearance, have respect for others, can consistently meet deadlines, and do your best to be a TEAM PLAYER.
  • Neat and accurate paperwork is a must.

THE DUTIES:

  • Diligent Data Entry - every detail counts
  • Account administration including preventing and processing cancellations
