Project: Zu, PIC & KSA
Zu, PIC Investment Group and KSA Group Architecture recently partnered with Reed Security to protect their renovated offices located at 303 Pacific Ave., Saskatoon, SK. Strata was the Commercial Construction Project Manager.
Zu is a digital agency that uses technology, creative thinking, and collaboration to build smart and elegant solutions. Zu helps businesses and organizations of all sizes communicate with their customers.
PIC Investment Group is a venture capital investment company focused on growth financing in the chemical industry, transportation industry, industrial real estate as well as northern Saskatchewan development through the outfitting industry.
Under the direction of Kent Sutherland (MSA) KSA Group Architecture has attracted corporate and commercial clients interested in new and innovative approaches to design and development. 303 Pacific is one of their many projects.

Project: Toepfer Western Grain
Toepfer Western Grain & Processing Division recently partnered with Reed Security to solve a problem with logistics and scheduling. Toepfer Western Grain & Processing Division has two soft handle processing facilities near North Battleford, SK and exports peas, lentils, and small seeds around the world.
Problem: Railcar arrivals are inconsistent. Railcars are often delivered during the evening and on the weekends and client would like to be notified immediately. (The railcar company does not provide any notifications).
Solution:
- An exterior ReedHD Hi-Def Smart Camera was installed and aimed at the path of the railcars being delivered.
- The on board cross line detection analytics detect when a railcar crosses preset points.
- During the weekday, an e-mail with images from the camera notifies the client that a railcar has arrived.
- During the evenings, weekends and holidays our 24/7 Monitoring Stations also receives the notifications.
- An emergency operator logs into the ReedHD Hi-Def Smart Camera and performs a look-in to verify that a railcar has been delivered (and notifies a key-holder list that has been provided).
- Video Look-in and Notification Packages start at only $99/mo. Equipment sold separately.
- The date, time and serial numbers of each railcar are recorded for 30 days.
- ReedHD Hi-Def Cameras also protect the Office and the Yard.
